Claire DeSetto is the Coordinator of the American Heart Association Training Center at Mercy Medical Center. She has over 30 years of critical care nursing experience, including ICU/CCU nursing, Emergency nursing, and Recovery nursing. She has been an ACLS Instructor for the Long Island Region since 1994. Ms. DeSetto is also a PALS Instructor and a BLS Instructor. In addition, she is Regional Faculty for ACLS, a member of the Long Island Regional ECC Task Force, and a member of the Nassau County Regional EMS Committee. She is the co-author of the chapter CPR for the e-medicine online Family Emergeny Medical Guide.
